He loved her, we all could tell. They were inseparable, by glue of heartfelt vows. She loved him more, her life and its plans proved them. It was good while it lasted but now, he's on his own. He said nothing and resumed pretending on complacency. Then we watched him squat down, in utter helpless and sorrow. Tears began to apple his throat. His chest bobbed with hysteria. His pain washed his face, his loss expressed in his lack of physical control.

He couldn't imagine the tomorrows without her.
His wife, his confidante, his best friend, his everything.

I could feel the fear pounding itself against my chest. We should make use of all these borrowed time we've got and the love we're being given. Everyone takes things for granted, we got to lose them before the actual pain sinks in.

It shouldn't be this hard.
