I’ll pick the Red Tab, with its trademark at the back of the pocket.

I have no idea why, but it seems like 9 out of 10 teenagers have at least a pair of Levi’s jeans in their wardrobe. Out of the 9, 1 would get an imitation pair; how desperately wanting a pair of “Levi’s” jeans. See the over popularity. Did you really think that all those boys and girls wear Levi’s cause it is comfortable, nice, or whatsoever ? haha, straight no. Okay fine, at least not exactly.

In fact, because everyone is wearing it, so it becomes a “eh I also want one” norm. Over popularity. Levi’s is one of the more preferred brand generally because of its success in attempt to get the attention of this infamously hard-to-reach group of 18 to 35 year old guys who would turn their attention to advertisements built around wacky humour. An example would be the Levi’s 501 “Uncomplicate” ad.

Jeans maker Levi’s have taken on the new pitch to guys about making their lives less complicated, convincing them to start off with wearing traditional Levi’s 501s. In this animated video ad, a GI Joe type animated character returns from war and witness an overwhelming wussified culture of no-curb beer, grande lattes, metrosexual-ed men getting chest waxing, manicures and facials. Well, too complicated for him. To get back to reality, he finds refuge in the pair of Levi's to make him feel complete again, where he re-embrace guyness. The ad was kind of jumpy and entertaining, 4As, all checked.

As I was mentioning about Levi’s ads being built around wacky humour, how they were thumbing their noses at decorum, knowing that it would attract the consumers’ attention, watch this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZe0XYwC_7w

Another interesting Levi’s ad would be the one on their Slim Straight jeans.

Levi’s jeans makes me feel good wearing them out. It’s like they are the most definite of things. Wear them out, walk the line and, feel sexy.

Wear them out.

Honestly, I think Levi's some bullshit.
